Question #1: When I try to connect my Instagram account to my FUNfluential profile, no Instagram accounts appear as options.
Answer: Per Meta’s rules, your Instagram professional account (business or creator account), must be connected to a Facebook Page to attach to 3rd party websites.
To confirm, open up your Instagram account on your phone. Click Edit Profile and then on the next screen, scroll to Page.
If it says Connect or create you must either:
1) Create a Facebook Page. This is different than your personal Facebook Profile. Typically, this is a business page to go with your Instagram account. You do not need to post anything on your Facebook Page, but Meta requires that you have one. Once you do this, go back to FUNfluential and your Instagram account should appear as an option to connect.
2) If you already have a Facebook Page (different than your personal Facebook Profile), you may connect it in this step. Once you do this, go back to FUNfluential and your Instagram account should appear as an option to connect.
Question #2: I received an email inviting me to apply for a campaign. When I click on the link, the information is blank or I can’t click “Yes” or “No”. The campaign does not appear in my FUNfluential dashboard.
Answer: Sometimes settings on individual devices can prevent the campaigns from showing correctly. A few options to try:
• Log out of FUNfluential and log back in – you can do this if you are using the website or the app
• Try using a different device. For example, if you are using your phone, try using your computer.
• Try using a different browser. Change from Safari to Chrome or other
Question #3: I am not receiving emails from FUNfluential
Answer: Please add funfluential.com to your safe senders list in your email system to ensure emails do not go to spam.
